What is the Community Forward Ball and who does the event benefit?
The Community Forward Ball is Community Forward’s annual fundraising celebration, bringing together supporters, partners, and community members for performances, storytelling, and collective giving. All proceeds advance our mission to empower women and survivors to break cycles of housing instability and violence by expanding women-centered housing, safety, and mental health support — including services at one of San Francisco’s only 24/7 Drop-In Center.
Is the event 21+?
Yes, the event is 21+. Please be sure to bring a valid photo ID.
What is the dress code?
Cocktail attire is encouraged — think elevated, festive, and expressive, not black-tie formal. Come as you are (even straight from work!) and feel free to have fun with it: a polished work outfit, a statement suit, flowy skirt, or anything with a little sparkle, color, or personality.
Is this a seated dinner or cocktail-style event? Will there be food or drink available?
Guests will enjoy light bites, passed appetizers, and beverages available throughout the evening.
What payment methods are accepted?
Cash or debit/credit card
Please note that there is no ATM available inside the venue, so please plan accordingly.
How do I get there? (Parking, transportation, etc.)
Rideshare and public transportation are highly encouraged. If you’re taking MUNI or Bart, you will need to exit at Montgomery Station.

Can I transfer my ticket?
Yes, if you are unable to attend, or if you would like to gift your tickets to someone else, you can contact development@communityforwardsf.org in advance with the new attendee’s name and email address.
